I have signed up for certificates. At the end of the month I am charged $55.39 and that is added as a credit to my account to use at a later date.

That way I avoid a random shipment if I forget to place and order. Hope your husband is on the mend.

If you are into Melaleuca for the business side of it, you are pushing the hype to potential clients, so you're basically drinking the Coolaid and buying into the hype. There are a lot of fantastic claims, but I haven't seen the results. If your looking at Melaleuca...

I listened to a Melaleuca presentation recently, but as an educator, I find it necessary to always do my research. Things are not as they seem! I found it strange that the presenter was pushing the monthly requirement to spend the 35 points and the reorder option if no...

Melaleuca does ask all preferred customers to make a minimum purchased of 35 points per month, which equals approximately 4 to 6 products at an approximate cost of $70 in US Dollars. These products are ideally items you already buy from the Big Box Retailer.

So, there is no negative impact on your budget. Also, that monthly amount is less than $20 per week. Hence, this is not new money and therefore not a monthly deduction. This money is used for items you already purchase.

Now Melaleuca's Business Model does provide for Revenue Sharing for those that refer customers and a portion of the money paid by the new customer to the referring customer does come from the purchases by the new customer. However, it is not the total amount paid. The 35 point system is designed for the single person. Additionally, the point system allows Melaleuca to efficiently operate in 18 other countries without implementing a currency exchange system within the company. This, of course, keeps operating cost down, allowing Melaleuca to invest more money in higher quality ingredients and research.

Unfortunately, most of us as consumers are not used to shopping or using a point system. So, it is an adjustment that you would have to choose to make if you desire to shop at Melaleuca. Also, the reorder option (aka Backup Order) is only shipped if you don't cancel or if you don't make a minimum purchase of 35 points by the last day of the month. The backup order can be customized to those items that one wants to receive. However, if you cancel by the last day of the month by midnight, the backup order is not shipped.Given that Melaleuca is a month-to-month Program, the Backup Order provides the company with the ability to forecast customer shopping preferences much more effectively, allowing the company to operate as a Just in Time (JIT) Manufacture.

The JIT method also allows Melaleuca to provide the customer with products that are shipped soon after they are manufactured, which has a positive impact on the freshness of the products.Last, Melaleuca's Program is about a lifestyle change to use safer nontoxic products backed by science and many United States Patents. It is a company with a 32-year track record operating in 19 countries and growth to the 2 Billion dollar mark. This type of growth to this level only happens by serving customers with high-quality products. Melaleuca is not a scam.I am so sorry your experience with your presenter was not a good one for you.

Given this new information I have provided, I hope you will reconsider Melaleuca as a viable safe option for you and your family. Written on Thursday, 1 March 2018.

The Melaleuca I know would have told you to return the shipment and you would be credited your purchase. Upon doing that follow the procedure for cancelling your account and you are free and clear.

Now for the person who shared this with you the way she treated you was not right.

It is people like her that make us all look bad. I'm sorry for your unpleasant experience.

Melaleuca - Horrible service. Iffy products. Waste of time and money

Impossible to cancel service - three months later still getting charged and shipped packages and return to sender does not get refunds. Filling complaint to BBB and reporting to bank as FRAUD! Better products available elsewhere for less. Monthly minimum orders means in no time you will have a lifetime supply of laundry detergent / vitamins / crap you don't want or need.

Melaleuca - Expensive multi level marketing company

They are easy more natural, but organic is a marketing ploy and has very low standards so if anything says "organic" it's B.S.

Also the month package is point based so it's dependant on what you buy, I spend around $50 on products.

They are also factory direct so they aren't halfway to expired when they get to you like general store products.

They are a really good company but not for the poor for sure lol, I had to cancel my membership for 2 years because of a job loss.

You should always pay attention to what you sign up for when there is a membership involved, that's a no brainer. I wonder why so many people have a problem with that?
