You are to suspend your account before the 25th of every month to prevent the auto backup order. You forget then the company will activate the auto backup pack to protect your benefits. Your enroller should have inform you.

I'm sorry this customer had a bad experience but she was probably just told by customer service that they were just abiding by the agreement that she made when she opened her shopping account because they probably sent her a back up order if she didn't shop in the month that she committed to on her enrollment form. Melaleuca is an exclusive shopping group with a different business model that allows their customers to get higher quality products at lower prices in exchange for customer loyalty each month. I have been a customer for over 10

I have been a customer for 7 years and have never had a problem. I love this company and the many perks to being a preferred member.

It has one of the best customers service of any company they have always gone above and beyond the 2 to 3 times only that I have had to call them in 7 years and it's mainly damaged goods during shipping. Which they replaced immediately no extra charge...

R.T.F.P(Read The *** Print)!!! I have been buying and using Melaleuca products for years...and yes, they are pricey!!!

If anyone was misled or "lied" to by a Melaleuca Rep...then the rep should be "***-slapped" and fired (and yes, the company will pull your ticket for misrepresentation). If your grocery bill is higher each month then it used to be...then you are still buying your old brand in addition to the Melaleuca products (DUH!!!). If you are ever dissatisfied with any product...even if you have been using it for years...send it back for a full refund (product price only... UPS delivers the stuff...not Melaleuca).

If you look at the successful company reps...and read their stories...they were pretty much all into MLM schemes early in their careers...and yes...the company functions "SOMEWHAT LIKE" an MLM...but you might try looking up how MLM's work on your computer sometimes...interesting reading.

Last, but not least...if you were "talked" into signing up for Melaleuca as a business...and had a bad experience...if you are really honest with yourself...you have never taken a business course in your life...or you couldn't figure out that you can talk with anyone in the business to get a dufferent point of view. No, by the way...I am not in the busness...

i am writing this review as a unhappy consumer. not with the company or the products but with all these ridiculous accusations! you people are making a wonderful company look bad under false pretenses! i personally am a customer and i have not had not one bad experience! people talking about how they have to buy products every month....ok? and??? thats the whole point! you switch your shopping to a different company that provides safer products for a better value! They also give you 100 dollars worth of free products.....what is the problem?! if you dont like the products then ok.....cancel. and all these people saying that they dont let you cancel is BS! i signed up with a friend. she cancelled.....easy as pie. there were absolutely no problems for her. i am not a person trying to sign anyone up.....i only shop and i am freaking glad i do! i save money.....who doesnt want to save money! your already spending money on *** at the stores. for those people having problems it doesnt make sense! maybe its not them....but its YOU!!!

I agree with this post too. I also started with Melalueuca last year.

I had just lost my job and was getting behind in bills. When I was told that I could get better products to have around my gets for an easier price and shipped straight to my door, I quickly agreed. Not only that ut then I started telling people about the items and they started buying under me. I just got a check deposited from them for $2398.18.

And just for telling people what I thought about the products. Best Job Ever!!

I to have a complaint with all the people who are making false accusations about Melaleuca. First of all Melaleuca is a Fortune 500 company with an A rating with the Better Business Bureau. Also, they have won their Blue Chip award 3 times. There is a fee of $29.00 which pays for the kit you get. In this kit you get your shopping catalog a DVD that explains about melaleuca's products, how melaleuca works, and their compensation plan. You also get their Leadership in Action Magazine, and some enrollment forms. After that it is $12.00 per year. Sam's Club is $35.00 per year. Sam doesn't offer enviromentally safe products or a compensation plan to their customers. Every month Melaleuca offers specials like for example:During this month of May you can sign up for only a dollar instead of $29.00. So far they have been offering this about every other month. Yes! There is a minium purchase of 35 points per month. With shipping, handling, and tax it comes out to be between $50-60.00 bucks a month. You are not spending any new money all you are doing is switching stores from where you normally buy your products. You only buy what you need. New members also get $100.00 in free products. You get $20.00 in loyalty shopping dollars each month for 5 months to try products you normally wouldn't have tried. You also get coupons that are available for online orders. After your 5 months are up then you get 10% back on your order each month that you can use to get free products for ever. There are 3 catagories as a member you can choose from. Catagory 1 is for customers who only want to be customers. Catagory 2 customers want to sign up just enough customers to get their products paid for each month. Catagory 3 customers do this as a business so that they can make a life changing experience. Yes! There is a thing called a back up order, which I will explain. If you forget to place an order that month Melaleuca will ship your back up order in which you can customize yourself. That way if you do get a back up order you will be getting products that you know you will use. The purpose of the back up order is so that you won't lose your preferred customer status any commissions that you have coming, and if nobody ordered every month there would be no residual income to pay out. "Make sence"? I have many customers that aren't doing this as a business, but still earn $30-40.00 a month just for being customers. This is paying 1/2 of their product order each month. You can cancel at anytime. Their customer service department is the best I have ever worked with. As far as taking money from your account they can't do that unless you have authorized them to do so.They only debit or charge your credit card for the emount of your purchase only. As far as a bad experience goes you either misunderstood the program or the person who showed it to you didn't present it to you right. Melaleuca is a great company and I'm blessed to be a part of their family.
