Attended a neighbors presentation and was told I would only be charged $1 by her mentor in the pyramid scheme. I only found out by paying my credit card bill that I was charged $64.66 even though I had never authorized any order of a product. This is their backup order scam - more like a bohica scam.

Legit companies don't charge you for something you didn't agree to. And they stand behind their products. These guys are inconsistent in their customr service giving you different stories but try to force orders on you before you even sign up.

Avoid them and don't fall for their lies - they are crooks! I even had to change my credit card number as they are shrewd in dealing with disputing their charges. Be warned - unreputable company!

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Melaleuca Cons: How they lie, Pyramid scheme, Lack of customer service, Monthly commitment, Dangerous product ingredients, Unauthorized charge, Minimum monthly payments.

Obviously they did a TERRIBLE job of explaining it to you. The $1.00 was to probably join that month.

But you have to order every month a minimum of 35 points. I'm not sure why they didn't explain it better. Did you contact the person that signed you up and ask them about the charge on your card.

The person I was under was very helpful.

The preferred shopping agreement is real clear. If you forget to shop by the end of the month you get a backup order and it's charged to your account.

This is a monthly driven shopping club.

This is always discussed in detail in every overview of the program so don't blame the company. You just didn't listen and understand how it works.

I guess you wanted to pay one dollar and make a 6 figure income and you did not want to order anything from the company.

You also must of been sleeping during the presentation and did not read the preferred customer agreement that explains the requirements to be a preferred customer.

There is no product requirement for you to personally purchase product to be a marketing executive.

You could of gone out and set up shopping accounts and used that business volume to qualify you to earn money.

Seems like you were looking for the scheme and were disappointed you could get something for nothing

I have been with the company over 10 yrs and never had any issues with them. The customer service reps are A1 and always willing to please and help.
