I made a one time purchase and company kept my bank account information on file and took out of my checking a total 1300.00 dollars which I have tried to get my money back and they just keep making excuses , and now they want to charge me 10 for each time they remind me that I have a credit with them . this company is a scandal . do not trust them.

This is sad to hear. The person who enrolled you in the program should have thoroughly explained the backup order and monthly ordering agreement when you signed up.

I feel bad that people have been misinformed about the 35 point order. It is actually easy to obtain a 35 point order and since I have been with melaleuca I have saved a lot of money by not going to the big box stores where it is so easy to impulse shop. I simply have slowly been replacing products we use in our home with melaleuca products every month plus every month I get free products.

If you call the company and let them know what happened they will help you. If you never got an order they will try and make sure you get the products if they were paid for.

They have really great customer service and want to help if you give them that chance. I'd recommend it because the melaleuca oil and the products from them are really good :) I personally really like them and I know they will try to do right by you.

The shipping and monthly minimum is ridiculous. We were spending money just to meet the minimum. Saving money? It's false. It's purely false. Too bad that we weren't warned about the shipping when we originally signed up. Such a waste of money.

I just happened to find this review site by chance. There is a customer service line that you can call to request a catalog, though there should have been a catalog included in your membership kit.

The customer service number is 1.800.282.3000.

I hope the person who helped you get started reaches out to you! - but if they don't for some reason, the customer service line is very helpful.

you are exactly right about negative reviews. all the product reviews are good, happy ones.

like they were made up. i get that some products are good, but not all of them are 'fantastic' and you can feel results in just a few days.

they should be truthful and help the members with posting all views about products. negative reviews don't turn customers away, hopefully the manufacture will make the product better!

Melaleuca review in Escondido, California: No information from your enroller obviously

For those of you who are complaining, you were not given a FULL presentation (or no presentation) by your enroller. Everyone who is upset and surprised they got a back-up order were uninformed. Most people I believe that are saying that they faxed in the cancellation paperwork to Melaleuca and then told it was never received, should have gotten a fax with confirmation shortly after the fax to Melaleuca, to use for reference. I SUSPECT THAT MOST ARE NOT BEING TRUTHFUL ABOUT FAXING A CANCELLATION FORM IN AT ALL! Also, why would people be upset about paying shipping? You are saving time by ordering from home and saving gas by reducing your trips to the grocery store and having the convenience of shipping to your front door. The products are pure and natural and less expensive. Uninformed customers really *** me off!

The issues I had with these "natural" and "affordable" products is they were not working for me. I had a reaction to every single product and could not get a list of ingredients.

I also had an issue with customer service not being able to fix it so I could access my online account or receive emails. That website would just stop allowing access or certain features, like backup order and cancellation, would not work. Furthermore, I do not appreciate being told one thing and that everything is fine just to find out everything is not fine. Then, to tell me they have received my returns and turn around and tell my credit card company they have not received anything.

To tell me they can temporarily suspend my membership and then it takes me weeks to be able to cancel because they won't allow me to provide a written request. Then they failed to confirm it for me. I am really disappointed in this company, it's products, and the money I lost on unopened merchandise. I am completely unsatisfied with everything about Melaleuca right now.

Customer service is a waste of time. I made several calls and it accomplished nothing.
