Misleading company

I made a one time purchase and company kept my bank account information on file and took out of my checking a total 1300.00 dollars which I have tried to get my money back and they just keep making excuses , and now they want to charge me 10 for each time they remind me that I have a credit with them . this company is a scandal . do not trust them.

This is sad to hear. The person who enrolled you in the program should have thoroughly explained the backup order and monthly ordering agreement when you signed up.

Bad sales rep, ugly language

A guy name craige from a foreign land called me and we talked with each other at 3 a.m. in the morning he asked me if I could be on a call with this at the time nice guy from mrlaleuca but the day I went on the call was a mess this guy does not listen and had bad language coming out of his mouth how do you get these kind of people to listen before I knew it he had hung-up on me I know craige heard it. I wanted a meeting to clear the air and for him to say he was sorry craige never got back with me nor the rude guy

A Nightmare In The Making...

I have to agree with you about cancelling. I’m in the process of doing that right now. I’m a bit annoyed with their process which I find as a bad business practice. Most reputable online businesses will provide you with a very easy avenue to cancel. Not these people. Melaleuca does not want you to cancel as evidenced by the many steps you have to take to get the infamous form. The checklist you have to agree to makes it seem like you are going to lose your life for canceling. Also, the fax number for you to send the form has been off. I have 5 different fax attempts which resulted in, ‘no answer’. For a lucrative company that wants your business, having a fax machine turned off is bad business. If I am unsuccessful in getting rid of this company, I have a very good lawyer that is more than willing to help me out.

Wish list

I like some of the products but hate the 35 point minimum. My husband and I don’t use as much product as a family with kids at home. I wish there was a way to tailor the purchase to the consumers need vs the company’s 35 point quota. That sucks.

I absolutely agree. I really like some of Melaleuca's products--enough to grit my teeth and spend $80 every month on products I don't really need, whether or not I have it to spend, to fulfill my "commitment" to the company.

(I, the consumer, am required to fulfill a "commitment" to a retailer???? Something is wrong with that sentence.) It would not be so unsettling if the price of this "commitment" was $40 or even $50 a month, that I could probably live with. But with shipping, yes, it's about $80 a month. (I'm a postmaster with USPS and I know what the cost of shipping from Idaho to Utah is, and yes, Melaleuca sticks it to you with the cost of shipping.) It's just too darned expensive--and yet the company doesn't care.

They really don't care about making the commitment within the reaches of working class people. This is blatant greed on the part of the company.

This is what burns my butt about them, really. And I've been a customer on and off, under a couple of different people, for 25 years now--I am not just blindly discovering this.

Melaleuca presenters do not give full disclosure in presentations

I have been to four presentations. They really push the value packs to try and if you don't like something you can return it within 90 days. For a full refund. It is not a refund it is a credit those two words mean two different things. Secondly when you have the value pack you are only allowed to replace two items. There's sometimes 40 to 50 items in a value pack the likelihood you're going to like all of those items are Slim. Granted there are some good products that are being sold through them. However, the thing I do not like is the presentation is not full disclosure of the value packs. I am not a person that just purchases things for frivolously. Yes I'm going to ask for a credit or what was said was refund but apparently it's a credit for the items I don't want or use. I had to spend an hour on the phone with somebody about returning items from a value pack. Buyer beware caveat emptor.. Gia Heller was one of the presenters I saw 3x with no full disclosure regarding returns a value pack.

Extremely hard to cancel your membership. They send you around in circles while emphasizing how great the company is and how rare it is for someone to want to leave. You better have a printer and stamps handy to send in the cancellation form. DO NOT DO IT. Even with Doterra you can cancel pretty easily.

Yes, it's dumb that you can't go on-line and just say "I'm done" and move on. You could do that with any other company that I know of.

But not Melaleuca. You are forced to read this long letter about how your membership provides the CEO, Frank Vandersloot (the richest guy in Idaho) with a job.

And then both husband and wife have to sign the dissolution, which might pose a huge problem when both husband and wife did not sign up together in the first place and are in fact not even married and speaking to each other and living in the same geographic location anymore. So much for easy cancellation.

Called for last couple months to cancel they keep billing and sending

My wife got free trial canceled it with my card and they wont stop with both of us calling my wife putting in writing and they keep billing and sending once told to stop they bkilled my card more total scam i would pay 15 dollars for a box and they charge me 75 and i just saw it on site for 25 just wanf to be canceled didnt want to cur card but gonna have to and taking them to court unless they can rectify first going Tuesday Worst company they dont care about natural products just lining pockets

Here’s a suggestion.. get a prepaid debit card and add the minimum amount.

When they try to charge, it won’t go thru..

if they keep trying to call, just download YouMail and use their call block! It’s awesome!

No complaints just want to share my story

I have been shopping with them for 10 years. We love the products. I never heard they were all natural they use nature and science. I can tell you that after switching from store bought products my sons athma and skin issues cleared up. My reason for switching was there is no safety caps on any of there products, their price point to any of the products that claim they are safer where double the money. This store is for people who are shopping at Walmart. I totally believe these products are for 80% of the people shopping at Walmart /target looking to save money. They must being doing something right as they are a debt free company and the last report said they have a million shoppers that are shopping every month. You have to remember they are manufaccompany justblike P&G or Colgate and you don’t love every product they make ( or if any) so you will find products that don’t meet your standards here. Bottom line try them. I did and I even canceled before ( no Issues like some have stated) and I ended up coming back love the ease of shopping online for my everyday products. I guess I had a great enrollee who took and still takes her business to heart becI have never experienced any of these issues that most have had here.

I think this is fake from company all they do is prevent me from canceling my wife made a mistake by using this company I get a box of 25 dollar soap was 65 I started comparing went up to 75 dollars I would cut card up but have a lot on it that's hard to change all do to my ALS....this company # should just be 666 go to *** cancel the subscription so can put money to better use!!!!!!!!!

Not understanding to my disabled needs

Set me items I didn’t ask for, after formally canceling with the form. Would still not cover shipment to send back even though package sent was their error. In all sincerity, I like the bath oil, which I would buy if their practices were better. The Sei Bella hair care unfortunately made my scalp itch like crazy. Never had anything do that to me before

We were sent goods that we DID NOT order AFTER cancelling MELALEUCA membership. $30 worth of soap and it COST us $11.00 to send it back. WHAT A SCAM !!! I advise, DON'T JOIN MELALEUCA.
